Asha Ashanti is an Afro-Jamaican screenwriter, writer, and singer. Known for her work as Melody Jones drummer of Josie and the Pussycats in CW's Riverdale. Asha has also appeared as Zadie Wells in Netflix's cult series Locke and Key. The author is HURRICANE SUMMER, and SONGS OF IRIE. Asha Bromfield's first novel brings readers to Jamaica and the inner world of a teenage girl struggling to make peace between herself and her family, set to the background of a hurricane.
